International gospel singer, Bob Fitts will this week storm the ancient city of Ibadan for the Ignite 2013 gospel concert. According to the organizers, Fitts will be singing and participating in a leadership forum with the theme “Call to Worship and Impact.”

Gbenga Kotila, convener of the concert told Nigerian Tribune that Bob Fitts would be joining the likes of Don Moen, Ron Kenoly and other international gospel singers who have performed in Ibadan.
He said: “[Bob Fitts] is graced by God to bring healing to the nations through music. We trust God that his coming will bring healing to Nigeria and Oyo State. We believe that afterwards Oyo state will live up to her name as the pacesetter state.”
The concert will be held on October 11, 2013 at Jogor Center in Ibadan with high expectations of a rebirth of values and redefinition of our identity.
Other gospel singers billed to perform are Damola Akiogbe, Wale Adenuga, Ibitayo Jeje, the Chosen Force Voices, amongst others.
Concerning the vision for the concert series he said they are meant to raise worthy future leaders for Nigeria.
“Our crusade of raising a breed without greed continues at every ignite. Our vision to raise future leaders who will be on the cutting edge in their generation still burns. This year, we want to trust god to raise an army of change with the mindset of nation building,” he said.
Bob Fitts has been writing songs and leading people in worship since the early 1970s when many students on his Corona, California high school campus met daily at lunch to worship and pray.
