Nigeria’s largest ecommerce platform has revealed plans to extend its services to Ibadan.
In an exclusive chat with Afam Anyika, Head of offline marketing at JUMIA Nigeria, he said the move is in line with JUMIA’s target of launching in every major city in every state in Nigeria.
“Our target is to launch in every major city in every state in the country. By extension, we can use that as hubs to extend to other rural areas in the state,” he told IBPulse.com
Concerning Ibadan, he said the company has plans to launch its services before the end of the year.
“We hope to get to Ibadan before the end of the year,” he said.
Already, he said the company is currently fully operative in Abeokuta and other areas in Ogun state.
“Expanding to Ibadan and other cities is something that is in the pipeline. Before the year runs out, you will be able to hear about roll out of more cash-on-delivery service in more cities across the nation,” Anyika told IBPulse.com
