Sultan of Sokoto visits Ibadan for MSSN

Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar lll, the Sultan of Sokoto, will today Thursday, December 26, officially declare open the 96th Islamic Vacation Course (IVC) of the Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN), B Zone, in Ibadan.

In a statement issued by Alhaji Mushafau Alaran, coordinator of MSSN B Zone, the society said that the theme of the course is “Survival”.
Alaran said that the opening ceremony would hold at the permanent site of the MSSN at Molisa Village, km 30, Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
According to him, the Sultan, who is the President-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), would be accompanied by prominent Islamic leaders in the South West. They are Alhaji AbdulAzeez Arisekola-Alao and Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, Deputy President General, and Secretary General of the Council, respectively
He added that Alhaji Shuaib Salisu, the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Ogun State governor, would deliver a lecture at the event.
Other expected guests are governors Rauf Aregbesola of Osun, Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun and Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo states.
