The Oyo State Honorable Commissioner for Industry, Applied science and Technology has enjoined the youths of the nation to be more interested in how they are governed and come out en masse to participate in politics so that the dream of a new Nigeria would be a reality.
Mr. Adesina said this while receiving members of Executives of a foremost social club in Ibadan, the Legacy Stars of Ibadan, an affiliate of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigene in his office yesterday.
The Commissioner went down memory lane to remind Nigerians about the ages of the likes of late Pa Anthony Enahoro, Adegoke Adelabu (penkelemesi),Obafemi Awolowo,Bola Ige and a host of others who were young men of integrity who made their mark in the polity of Nigeria during their youthful days.
I am happy the present administration in Oyo state gave enough room for the youths of this State to express themselves and I thank God I was able to do my best at the Youth and Sports Ministry for two years,.
He also showed happiness that the new Commissioner in the ministry is another young man, while we can still boast of other young men and women at the House of Representatives also.
The members of the Legacy Stars club led by legacy Akinade Nurudeen used the occasion to intimate the Honourable about the forthcoming 20th anniversary of the society where the prototype of a recreation centre would be unveiled and extend a hand of fellowship to him to become a member of their reputable club as he is to be conferred with an honorary membership of the club on the anniversary day.
