ThinkOyo announces plans to boost voters registration and PVC collection

In a bid to encourage massive turnout during the voters registration exercise and collection of Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVC) organised by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the ThinkOyo Initiative has put some plans in place.

In a statement made available to IBPulse.com, the initiative said its plan for both exercises include setting up of information helpdesk at major tertiary institutions across the state. The institutions include University of Ibadan, The Polytechnic Ibadan, Oyo Federal College of Education (Special), Emmanuel Alayande College of Education (Erelu and Isokun Campuses)

Others include LAUTECH, Oke-Ogun Polytechnic (Saki), Eruwa Polytechnic, Eruwa.

There will also be a roadshow across the state capital from Friday to Sunday. The routes are stated below.

Routes Day 1 – – Iwo Road, Idi Ape, Gate, Mokola, Dugbe, Heritage and Cocoa Mall, Oke bola, Oke pade, Agbeni , Oja – Oba ( Convergence point Heritage Mall)

Day 2 – Challenge, (Shoprite, Ring road – Convergence point)

Day 3 – Eleyele, Sango, Awolowo, Ojoo axis (convergence point), UI, Agbowo, Bodija,

“We would appreciate it if you could join us to make this a reality,” ThinkOyo said.
