TundeyBudding afropop music artiste Akintoroye Tunde, aka Tundey Fa Tundey has said the remix of his St. Bustar-produced latest track titled Dundun will soon be released.

In an exclusive interview with IBPulse.com in Ibadan, the graduate of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife said the remix of the song featured Reminisce.

“It would be released this year, hopefully very soon,” he said.

He also confirmed plans are underway to shoot the video for the song.

“We are planning a video for the song, the video script is already on ground and we will be shooting it this year – hopefully very soon. The location would be entirely decided by the producer,” Tundey told IBPulse.com.

“Dundun is all about dance. When I said ‘let’s go by the way of Cherubim’ I was just going spiritual on that. Cherubims are spiritual beings before God. The song is all about dance, merriment and happiness.”

In an exclusive interview with IBPPulse.com, Akeeb Lawal, chief executive offficer (CEO) of Gbera Tinrin Studios called for major support for rising artistes in Ibadan.

“Radio interviews, shows and airplay seem reserved for mainstream acts that are already successful. It’s hard to say this is who is repping Ibadan artist-wise. Even when local artists get a taste of success, the next step tends to be to go to Lagos. So as promising as the scene is, we still don’t have a fully supported act by all,” Lawal told IBPulse.com.
