Organizers of the MOREKLUE ALL YOUTH AWARDS, MoreKlue Group, have said the goal of the awards is to create for Nigerian youths the need to strive to succeed.
In a statement made available to IBPulse.com, Titilopemi Olasunkanmi, the Awards’ Mobilization Director said the response to the awards has been quite encouraging.
“Since we kick started the awards process last year, it has been very encouraging. From the jury/logo unveil to the website launch, the support has been awesome. That we could get over 3000 votes on the 1st day of voting goes a long way to say how appreciated the awards’ brand is and we thank all the nominees and supporters who felt it worthy to make adequate noise about the project,” Olasunkanmi said.
This year, organisers said the awards will feature a public lecture, visit to some orphanages, main awards cocktail, autographs and photographs session, media tour across media houses in Lagos and Oyo states.
“We are also hoping to pick up the sponsorship of at least 1 secondary school student so as to drive home the point that “The Time Is Now” and we really don’t need to sit for the government to do all for us,” organizers stated.
“We are working assiduously around the clock to give our people the best of awards, fun, networking, education and more in such a way that by 2016, tons of people will be eager to have #MAYAAwards again.”
“We appreciate our supporting brands for believing in us so far and we look forward to more support from more brands as the awards event is getting bigger and we need more hands.”
