The aim of the hackathon is to tackle Nigeria’s waste and environment challenges
WestAfricaENRG is planning to invest N2 million in the startup that wins the OyoMesi Hackathon scheduled to hold next month at The Technical University Ibadan.
According to the official website for the contest, in addition to the prize money, there is also a one-week apprenticeship in London.
“The top 20 ideas pitched on the night will progress to a weekend hackathon in Ibadan, organised by the OYOMESI Consortium. Top prizes will be an investment by WestAfricaENRG into the best three ideas and the opportunity for a 1 week apprenticeship with Pomelo Pay in London, UK,” organizers stated.
